Kelmayisaurus petrolicus (Dong, 1973) > Kelmayisaurus gigantus (Grady, 1993)
Maxilla and dentary.
Represented by an incomplete left maximilla and dentery and a 22 mtr long vertebral column. Using the mandibular characters given by Madsen (1976) to distinguish Allosaurus fragilis from Megalosaurus bucklandii, Kelmayisaurus petrolicus agrees with M.Bucklandii in four, with Allosaurus fragilis in one (fused interdental plates), and four cannot be determined (forms os symphysis and of lateral surface, exposure of replacements teeth, and cranial extent of elveolar row) This suggests a closer relationship to Megalosaurus bucklandii than to Allosaurus fragilis.
