Genus - Typespecies
Material: type IVPP 88402 (smaller individual) nearly complete skeleton. Referred material: IVPP 88402 (smaller individual) partial skeleton about 2/3 the size at the type IVPP 88501 foot material IVPP 88510 additional material (not examined) Bidepal.
The general skeletal reconstruction resembles a moderarely large prosauropod with long arms and a short tail. Detailed morphology show close ancestry to the Therizinosauridae (for which Segnosaurus galbinensis is a junior synonym).
There are more teeth (40) in the dentary then there are in kown therizionosaurids who are distinguisable from [Alxasaurids] in lacking teeth at the front of the mouth.
