See also Trachodon amurense This taxon is now unanimously regarded as a nomen dubium because the holotype is not diagnostic and clearly belongs to several individuals. Called [Gypsosaurus] by Russian scientist because its mostly made out of plaster.
Based on a incomplete braincase, fragmentary dantaries, dorsal, sacral and caudal vertebrae, two ribs and bones from the fore- and hind-limbs. Mandschurosaurus is possible a junior synonym of Charonosaurus, in which case the former has priority.
