Tooth It is mostly known from it\\\\\\\'s leaf shaped teeth (crowns) and some postcrania figured by Lull (1911).
USNM 2135, named by O.C. Marsh in the American Journal of Science, volume 35, page 93, in 1888. The type material was collected by J.B. Hatcher in 1887 from Prince Georges County, Maryland and consist of an isolated tooth. It is the only ankylosaur named from the eastern United States.
