Epidendrosaurus ningchengensis (Zhang, Zhou, Xu & Wang, 2002) is possible a junior synonym of Scansoriopteryx heilmanni.
Etymology
Latin scandere = \\\\\\\"climb\\\\\\\" + Greek pteryx = \\\\\\\"feather, wing \\\\\\\"
Holotype
CAGS02-IG-gausa-1/DM 607, almost complete, mostly articulated skeleton including lower half of skull, preserved as natural mold in slab and counterslab, feather impressions, ?skin impressions, juvenile
Diagnosis of genus (as for the type species)
Manual digit III elongated, almost twice length of II, metacarpals II and III short, approximately 30 perscent length of humerus; second phalanx of manual digit II long, almost 170 percent length of first (Zhang, Zhou, Xu and Wang , 2002)
