\\\\\\\"Struthiosaurus\\\\\\\" transilvanicus Nopcsa (1915, 1929a) is based on an partial skull and skeleton of about 2 to 3 m total length, The scapulocoracoid has the displaced scapular spine and prespinous fossa diagnostic of derived nodosaurids, and the dermal armor includes typical nodosaurid spikes. The skull fragment has a closed supratemporal fenestra, narrow infratemporal fenestra, and fused paroccipital process and squamosal, all features of nodosaurids.
