Genus - Typespecies - Skull
Holotype
PIN N 557/91 occipital section of cranium with part of the skull roof. Other refered material consist out of a skull roof and fragmentary postcranial skeletons found at the same locality. \\\\\\\"wicker tail\\\\\\\" Talarurus plicatospineus has a relatively long narrow skull (length approximately, 240 mm width approx. 220 mm).
The occipital condile is partially visible in dorsal view, a feature unique within the ankylosairodae. Maxillarly teeth have swollen bases cut by W-shaped furrows on the labial side. Armour elements bear a \\\\\\\"furrow-rib\\\\\\\" type of ornamentation and the tail-club is weakly developed.
