USNM 219, 220, 221 collected by F.V. Hayden in what may be the Lance Formation, or its equivalent,named by Joseph Leidy in the Proceedings of the Academy of Natural Sciences in Philadelphia, number 8, page 311, in 1856. The syntype suite material consists of three partial, and probably unassociated, vertebrae and is from Grand River, South Dakota.
