Genus - Typespecies
Vertebrae.
The unique species, Walgettosuchus woodwardi, is established on an isolated, incomplete, amphicoelous caudal. Huene believed that the caudal had possessed elongate prezygapophyses.
What remains of the caudal is not distinguishable from those of allosaurids or ornithomimids and so cannot be identified as carnosaurian.
