Info
All parts of this Indian genus Barapasaurus have been recoverd except for the skull and feet, making it potentially the best known Early Jurassic sauropod, but thus far the animal has received only a very preliminary description. Thus, its inclusion in the Vulcanodontidae rather than the Cetiosauridae is tentative but appears to be justified by the narrow sacrum. No part of the skull is known except for isolated teeth.
