AMNH no.? consists of a sacral centrum and fragments of proximal end of tibia. Material is no longer determinable. location: northeastern Colorado, in the so-called Laramie beds originally referred as the 2nd species of the genus Agathaumas, belonging to the family [Agathaumidae] (note: at this time Ceratopsian dinosaurs had not been established until 1888, with the discovery of Ceratops montanus).

The material is possibly from the Denver Formation in Colorado, along the South Platte River The family [Agathaumidae] was erected for material which was new to science, and couldn\\\\\\\'t be placed in any of the existant family of dinosaurs. In 1874/75, Agathaumas milo is referred by Cope to [Hadrosaurus occidentalis]. After 1917, Agathamumas milo is referred to Edmontosaurus regalis, Agathaumas milo is a nomen nudum, and the fragmentary nature of the type material is such that no adequate description or comparison can be performed.

The species should therefore be discarded (nomen oblitum). Edward Drinker Cope never properly described it, Marsh and Lull published this material in 1907 as Hadrosaurus occidentalis.
