Single skeleton (40%). Domeykosaurus is named after 19th-century Chilean scientist Ignacio Domeyko and differs from other species in that its extremities are slightly more elongated and thin. Domeykosaurus is the most complete dinosaur specimen found in Chile. Another tintanosaurid of which remains are discovered in Chile is Antarctosaurus wichmannianus from the Vinitas Formation, Coquimbo.
