\\\\\\\"Buffalo Lizard\\\\\\\" in Sioux. Estimated adult skull length: = 1.5 m
Holotype
(MOR 456-8-9-6-1 includes multiple specimens). Einiosaurus has two spikes projecting from the frill, low rounded brow-hornes and (in some individuals) a narrow hooked \\\\\\\"can-opener\\\\\\\" nosehorn. The only described specimen was found in the Canyon Bonebed, of Glacier County in Montana from this location
Two additional adult skulls and cranial and post-cranial elements of several animals of different ages are known. Two km. from the Canyon Bonebed in a bonebed of Dino Ridge Quaryand 200 dissociated cranial and post-cranial elements (MOR 373) are found.
