Holotype
TsNIGR museum #576/12457, a tooth from Khodzhakul\\\', Karakalpakistan; upper Albian, lower or middle section of the Khodzhakul\\\' Formation (Khodzhakul\\\'skaya Svita); about 10 teeth, all quite small for a hadrosaurid, are referable to this species (atavus: \\\"great-great-grandfather,\\\" referring to its relationship to other duckbilled dinosaurs); incorectly referred to Gilmoreosaurus. The holotype tooth does not belong to a hadrosaur, its typical for a less derived ornithopod.
