Genus - Typespecies - Skull
Holotype
HYMV1-1: Partial articulated skeleton w/ skull material, missing only forelimbs and distal caudal vertebrae. Hypodigm APK:25/75: HYMV1-2 furcula, partial right shoulder girdle and forelimb; HYMV1-3 partial right manus, and HYMV1-4, a partial hindlimb; and HYMV1-5, left manus; all in addition to holotype skeleton and likely belonging to the same individual.
Diagnoses of genus (as for the type species)
Differing from all other known oviraptorosaurians in increased cervical and sacral vertebral count, and decreased dorsal vertebral count; quadratojugal articular surface of quadrate more groovelike; quadrate diverticulum entering quadrate rsotrolaterally; pneumatic foramen on neural arches and ribs of cervical vertebrae; pubis as long as ilium; proximal end of metacarpal I wrapping that of II in venntral aspect.
