[D] Allosaurus medius
Cretaceous Early Hauterivian Barremian
Saurischia Theropoda Incertae Sedis \\\"Carnosaurs\\\" Nomina Dubia
Arundel Formation, near Muirkirk, Maryland, US
Collected in 1887. It was originally named by Marsh in the American Journal of Science in 1888 but was referred to Dryptosaurus by Gilmore 1920, U.S. National Museum Bulletin 110. However, the specimen is far too incomplete to be properly placed within any current valid genus.
