Anchisauridae
Saurischia Sauropodomorpha Prosauropoda Anchisauridae [Herbivore]
In 1885 Othniel Charles Marsh named the family Anchisauridae for Anchisaurus. Galton en Paul Upchurch gave in 2004 an exact definition as a clade: the group consisting of Anchisaurus and all species more closely related to Anchisaurus than to Melanorosaus.
