Dinosaur Provincial Park occupies an area of 73 square km along the Red Deer River near the center of southern Alberta, Canada. No single place or equal size has produced as many individual skeletons of different dinosaurs. Its now designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The 120m thick Upper Cretaceous sediments in the park are divided into three distinct periods whitin the Judith River Wedge.
