Batodon is poorly known. In addition to the type, a dentary baring the last three premolars (Marsh, 1892) and another jaw fragment with parts of the same teeth plus the first two molars (Both from the Type Lance, Clemens, 1973) there are a few specimens, tentatively referred from Trochu, Gryde and several sites in the Hell Creek Formation
