Peraiocynodon inexpectacus (Simpson, 1928) > Peraiocynodon major (Sigogneau-Russel, 2003)
Holotype BMNH J.693, a left lower molariform. Additional material. J.769, a right lower molariform. Derivation of name: major = larger.
Differs from P. inexpectatus by the much larger size, the anterior narrowness, the absence of an antero-basal crest, and the total absence of a lingual ridge. MEsio-lingual cuspule and mesio-labial cusp better individualized; posterior concavity more accentuated. (Sigogneau-Russel, 2003)
