Type species by mono type. (The species was figured by Hahn, 1985, as ?Pseudobolodon n. sp.; and by Hahn, 1987, as Pseudobolodon? sp.) Genus based on upper dentition. Differs from other paulchoffatine genera by having P3 bicusped, distinctly smaller than P2; the P2 with 5 cusps, P4 and P5 with three rows of cusps; canine placed close to P1.
