Typespecies by monotype. Represented by a dentary with a premolar and tow molars and several isolated upper and lower molars, all of the type species.

Synonym: Borealestes (Waldman & Savage, 1972, partim) only upper molar described be Freeman, 1979 as Borealestes sp.
