Tegana Formation Ksar-es-Souk, Taouz, Morocco Info Genus - Typespecies Cristatusaurus lapparenti (Taquet & Russell, 1998) > Spinosaurus sp. (1) ( Taquet, 1984) Named for the spinosaurian material originally described by Taquet in 1984 as Spinosaurus sp. Isolated tooth, undiagnostic jaw fragment, and a 22 cm fragment of a right maxilla. Material to be found at the Heorg-August University at Gottingen,Germany. Some theropod specialist think the anatomical differences between the material of Suchomimus tenerensis (Sereno et al. 1998) and Baryonyx walkeri only warrant recognition of the former as a distinct species of Bayonyx, [Baryonyx tenerensis] and that the generic names "Cristatusaurus and Suchomimus should be considered subjective junior synonyms of Baryonyx
